My full name is Ricardo Bravo Ríos, I was born in Cd. Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico where the Big Bang sparked and right there the Universe was born (just kidding, but as they say; "between joke and joke the truth appears"). Well, the Rio Bravo (that's what they called me in high school because of my last name) runs through that area, dividing the border more "Great and Beautiful of the World" (thus says Juan Gabriel, may he rest in peace) between Mexico and the USA.

I came to live in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico because when I was 14 years old I discovered this heavenly place and I said; "When I grow up I want to live here" And hey, I did it. I have fought hard to achieve it, to keep going, I have lived in different places, I have lived countless experiences that have helped me achieve my goals and life project. The main reason is: Swim and Pedal!

My first Personal Challenge was to cycle around the perimeter of Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, 70 kilometers in 4 hours. Now I am preparing for my second Personal Challenge, which is to swim from Cancún to Isla Mujeres, 9 kilometers. For some it may be a lot, for others it may be a little, for me it is: "Overcoming my own limits"
